Triangle Kayak is no more than a communication tool: A mechanism to join folks who want to learn to paddle kayaks with competent instruction. As independent kayak instructors, we’ve had the opportunity to partner with two local organizations, Paddle Creek and Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC), in order to found a central point of communication about kayak instruction in the area and to utilize the resources that each of us can bring to this table. TAC has a wonderful new indoor center with heated pools and classroom facilities. Paddle Creek, located right beside both Falls Reservoir and the Neuse River carries a wide range of paddlesports outfitting from boats to paddles to accessories. They have rental and demo equipment available to meet your needs.

Us? We’re in it because we love kayaking, being on the water and passing those avocations along to others.  If you want to get involved with kayaking we want to help get you started. From these basics, we can find a pathway for you to get involved with the sport and meet people who share your enthusiasm. Want to progress further? We can connect you with a variety of instructors to learn specialties like sea-kayaking, surf kayaking or more advanced levels of whitewater kayaking.
